The Nerazzurri defeated Feyenoord and thus secured access to the quarter-finals, with the intensity of their European journey now ready to step up significantly.
Champions League Quarter-finals: Inter’s opponent
Inzaghi’s team will face Bayern Munich, who eliminated Bayer Leverkusen. The Nerazzurri will once again face the Bavarians two years after their last meeting, when the two teams shared a group. On that occasion, Inter had been defeated in both matches, although this did not prevent them from reaching the final in Istanbul.
Inter will play the first leg away in the same stadium that will host the final and the second leg at San Siro. The matches are scheduled to take place on April 8-9 and April 15-16. The official schedule has yet to be announced.
