The month of April will be decisive for coach Simone Inzaghi‘s Inter, as the team faces crucial matches in the league, the Coppa Italia, and also the Champions League. After this international break, the Nerazzurri will host Udinese in Serie A, thus beginning a particularly challenging stretch of matches.
First, they have the Coppa Italia first leg against Milan, then Bayern Munich in their Champions League quarterfinals opener. Between those two fixtures, there will also be an away league match against Parma; all these matchups are packed within six days. Due to this intense schedule, Inzaghi is hoping to recover as many injured players as possible since some of them are key starters.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inzaghi hopes to have Denzel Dumfries back at least for the match against Bayern Munich, although he is almost certain to miss earlier games. Meanwhile, Lautaro Martinez could return sooner than his Dutch teammate: in fact, the captain has his eyes set on the Coppa Italia derby.
