This is certainly not the best moment at Inter regarding injury updates. While awaiting the recovery of the three wide players still recovering Dimarco, Darmian, and Zalewski, during the latest match against Atalanta, Simone Inzaghi also lost Denzel Dumfries. According to early reports, there is not much optimism regarding the Dutch player’s condition.
Another official withdrawal indirectly affecting Inter is the one just announced by the Italian Football Federation. Pio Esposito, a striker owned by Inter and currently on loan at Spezia, has in fact left the training camp in Galzignano Terme, led by coach Nunziata.
The 2005-born player suffered a hard knock during the last match against Cesena and is still not fully fit. Due to this reason, the Federation decided to send him back to La Spezia to recover from the injury. Here is the official statement about the forward: Due to unavailability, the player Francesco Pio Esposito has left the training camp.
