At Inter, rumors about the transfer market never run out, even a few days before the official end of the summer session. In Spain, in fact, in the last few hours, there has been talk of the Nerazzurri in the context of a possible deal with Atletico Madrid.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Inter could be preparing in the coming months to lose Davide Frattesi. The former Sassuolo midfielder, through his agent Giuseppe Riso, indeed asked for more space in a meeting held last June at Viale della Liberazione headquarters with the Nerazzurri management.

Despite the numerous surveys received, however, Inter considers Frattesi one of the most important players in its team and has never wanted to listen to any offer for him. According to the Spaniards, however, the two paths could soon separate.

In the event of a transfer, among the possible candidates to replace Frattesi at Inter, the name of Pablo Barrios is mentioned. The 2003-born midfielder, faced by the Nerazzurri in the last Champions League against Atletico Madrid, would have been included on the list of desires of the Nerazzurri club.

However, what makes the idea of moving to the Spaniard less concrete is the 100 million euro buyout clause set by the last renewal of the contract with the Colchoneros. A figure strongly wanted by Atletico, which believes in the qualities of the young Barrios, but, most of all, it makes the Inter hypothesis less plausible.
