Luca Gotti spoke very highly of Dario Baccin, the new sporting director of Inter. Speaking to Sky Sport before the kick-off of the match at San Siro against Udinese, the former Friulian coach recalled the relationship that ties him to the Nerazzurri executive, which began when Baccin was still a player.

“If I may, I had Baccin as a player, I know him well and our relationship goes back a long way. He was a good player and had a good career, but from a professional point of view, in his new role as an executive, and above all as a person, my opinion is that we are at a level of excellence,” said Gotti.

The coach then also had a thought for Piero Ausilio, whom Baccin replaced in recent weeks after being his deputy: “I also join in the embrace towards Piero Ausilio and wish him the best of luck.”
