Last night’s match between the Italian national team and Germany showed two different faces of coach Luciano Spalletti‘s squad: after a very challenging first half which ended in great difficulty, Italy managed to recover and make a comeback, reaching a final score of 3-3. Unfortunately, this result was not enough for qualification. Among the most criticized players is goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Italian goalkeeper received negative reviews regarding Germany’s second goal, conceded from a corner kick situation in which the Italian defence lacked attention, leaving Musiala completely free to score an easy goal. Today, the Italian newspaper La Repubblica has presented an update on the future of goalkeeper Donnarumma, who may soon move to another team.

The newspaper emphasizes that the PSG goalkeeper is not certain to continue for long in the French capital, as current PSG coach Luis Enrique has never considered him indispensable. Inter Milan is among the clubs interested, with president Beppe Marotta reportedly ready to negotiate a discount on Donnarumma‘s transfer fee, leveraging the fact that the goalkeeper originally arrived in Paris on a free transfer.
