Andy Diouf spoke about his adaptation to the new role at Inter. The Nerazzurri winger made some statements to the microphones of SportMediaset, focusing on the difficulties of the position and the nickname that follows him.

“It’s not easy in this new position: when I’m on the pitch I try to play my game and use some of my skills like taking on opponents one-on-one,” explained the player. The reference is to the technical qualities he tries to showcase even in his current role.

Regarding the nickname “il calcio” associated with his name, Diouf replied with irony: “Andy ‘il calcio’ Diouf? I didn’t invent it but it’s a funny nickname.” A joke accompanied by a laugh, which shows the good mood of the Nerazzurri player.
