Sassuolo is working to strengthen the defense with two targeted profiles. One of the objectives concerns the right flank, where the neroverdi are looking for an experienced player. The club from Emilia has set its sights on Matteo Darmian, currently a free agent after leaving Inter.

For the left flank, however, the favorite remains Rafa Obrador. The 2004-born player has returned to Benfica after his experience at Torino. As reported by Sky Sport, there is an alternative represented by Emanuele Valeri from Parma, a profile followed by the neroverdi management.

The search for defensive reinforcements is part of Sassuolo’s strategy to complete the squad with players capable of guaranteeing reliability and experience, especially on the flanks.
