Liverpool and Inter have reached a definitive agreement for the transfer of the English midfielder. According to SportMediaset, the deal was finalized on the basis of 30 million euros plus bonuses, an amount close to the total 35 million that had been discussed in recent hours.
The meeting between the two clubs, with the presence of Italian intermediaries, had already seen significant progress. The remaining details have been resolved, paving the way for the midfielder’s arrival in Italy.
As confirmed by Accomando on X, the English midfielder is expected in Milan in the next few hours to undergo medical examinations and sign the contract that will tie him to the Nerazzurri. Once the bureaucratic process is completed, the player will join the group led by Chivu ahead of the season opener against Monza.
