After the Ademola Lookman deal became complicated due to Atalanta’s refusal – but it is important to specify that it is not at all closed yet –, several names are emerging in the newspapers as possible alternative options for the attacking department of Cristian Chivu’s Inter, should the Nigerian striker remain stuck in Bergamo.

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, one option could lead the Nerazzurri back towards Marseille. After the signing of Luis Henrique between May and June, now the Inter management could return to negotiations with the French club for another of its attacking talents who performed very well under De Zerbi last season.

This is Mason Greenwood, a former Manchester United striker who, 12 months ago, was also close to Lazio before choosing Marseille. The English player, born in 2001, before an off-field incident that slowed his career, had shown great quality in the Premier League and in the last Ligue 1 season scored as many as 21 goals.
