Inter continues its search for young talents to add to the squad for the coming seasons. In their sights is Branimir Mlacic, a central defender born in 2007 from Hajduk Split.

According to today’s report from Corriere dello Sport, his profile perfectly matches what the directors of viale della Liberazione are looking for: tall, strong in duels, also good at starting the play, and above all endowed with great speed. However, there is no shortage of competition, with Croatian media also mentioning interest from Liverpool. The breakthrough in the first part of the season could push Ausilio to accelerate and close the deal in the coming weeks, at the opening of the winter transfer window.

According to Croatian sources, the Nerazzurri club would like to secure the Hajduk jewel and leave him at the Split club on loan until the end of the season, just as happened with Sucic and Dinamo Zagreb a year ago. Mlacic has recently renewed his contract until 2029.
