It was a rather disappointing first start for Yann Bisseck against Udinese. The German center-back, surprisingly fielded by Cristian Chivu in place of Benjamin Pavard, did not yet seem to be in top condition. Still too many lapses in concentration, but above all the serious mistake on the occasion of Atta’s opening goal, where the defender gave the Frenchman far too much space to aim and shoot unpressured towards the goal.
For this reason, the main Italian sports newspapers named Bisseck as one of the worst players on the pitch in Inter-Udinese. Here are the very harsh ratings he received:
LA GAZZETTA DELLO SPORT 5 – The usual, old problems: his marking is always loose, he gives Atta too much space in the goal action and is also lacking in pushing forward.
CORRIERE DELLO SPORT 4 – Gives too much space on the first goal, but that’s not the only lapse of the day. He too often loses his positioning and the duels on the pitch.
TUTTOSPORT 5 – Leaves space, leaves more space and Atta punishes Inter: another missed opportunity and a decisive episode in a defeat where he ends up in the dock.
PASSIONE INTER 4.5 – Timid with the ball at his feet, he suffers against the physicality of Udinese’s attackers. Very poor on the 2-1: gives Atta too much space for a tempting shot from the edge of the box. From then on it’s total confusion, despite trying to be more lively in the second half.
