Bastoni returns to Italy's squad for the match against Turkey

Alessandro Bastoni returns to the list of call-ups for Italy for tonight’s match against Turkey, the second fixture of the Nations League. The Inter defender had been suspended for the opening match against Belgium, which ended in a defeat that the Azzurri are now called upon to redeem.

Coach Roberto Mancini has selected 23 players for the trip to Turkey. Among the names on the list, the Esposito brothers stand out. Nicolò Barella, on the other hand, has remained at Coverciano along with nine other players to continue preparations ahead of the next match against France.

The full list includes Donnarumma, Carnesecchi, and Vicario among the goalkeepers. In defense, in addition to Bastoni, there are Kayode, Ruggeri, Calafiori, Scalvini, Ghilardi, and Di Lorenzo. In midfield, Romano, Fagioli, Tonali, Mandragora, Doumbia, and Frattesi have been called up.
