This afternoon, confirmation arrived from multiple sources of the rejection by Atalanta of the offer of 42 million plus 3 in bonuses made by Inter for Ademola Lookman. Ivan Zazzaroni, who has closely followed the developments of the negotiation from the very beginning, also reported the response email sent today by the Bergamo club, in which they rejected Inter’s proposal.
The director of Corriere dello Sport also added on Instagram that Atalanta has deemed Lookman non-transferable and for this reason has not set any price: “Atalanta has just officially declared Lookman non-transferable. This is not my interpretation, but the one provided by Inter in light of the fact that Atalanta never set a price: 50, 60, 70. Atalanta’s response was: ‘Offer not accepted, thank you for your interest in one of our players.’ This makes it clearer.”
