The only new addition for Inter in the January transfer market was Nicola Zalewski, a wide player who joined on loan from Roma to fill the gap left by Tajon Buchanan‘s transfer to Villarreal. The Polish winger joined the Nerazzurri from the capital with an included purchase option, on which a decision has now been made.
According to reports by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter has most likely already decided to exercise the option to permanently buy Zalewski’s registration outright. To complete this, the club will invest the agreed amount of 6.5 million euros, set with Roma last January as the fee for the player’s permanent transfer.
The management of Inter push hard in the last winter transfer window to secure this clause, as they intended to seriously focus on the player, born in 2002, departing from Roma. After several performances that have also convinced their coach Inzaghi, Zalewski is now set to become fully Nerazzurro.
