The main target of Inter for the next transfer window doesn’t stop scoring. After the hat-trick scored in the league at the end of September, yesterday evening in the Champions League he scored a crucial double against Atletico Madrid.
Jonathan David, in his last year of contract with Lille, is in a golden moment. With two goals, the first from a penalty kick and the second with a deflection, last night the Canadian striker brought Atletico Madrid to its knees with a fairytale comeback in Spain.
This is his third goal in this Champions league after the decisive goal that he scored to defeat Real Madrid in the last European round. David proves to be not only one of the best prospects in attack, but also a chance that must be seized at all costs on the zero parameter market next summer.
An indirect message to Inter, which has been linked to the player for weeks: maintaining this performance, the competition for David will become increasingly fierce day by day. Marotta and Ausilio, to pull off yet another transfer market masterpiece, will have to step on the gas and secure the strong class of 2000 as soon as possible.
