Juve has chosen Frattesi as the main target to strengthen the midfield. The Inter midfielder remains Luciano Spalletti‘s favorite, despite the price requested by the Nerazzurri club for his transfer. The alternatives would be Xaver Schlager and Quinten Timber, both out of contract but considered less interesting from a technical point of view.

The former Sassuolo player, as reported this morning by Tuttosport, is now on the fringes of Cristian Chivu‘s project and would like to leave already during the winter transfer window. Inter would be willing to let him go, provided the operation does not result in a capital loss on the balance sheet.

The request made in the summer to interested European clubs was around 35 million euros. However, given the recent developments in his Nerazzurri adventure, the amount could be revised: “It is not to be excluded, in fact, that – should Comolli decide to go all-in on him – Inter could open up to the option of a paid loan with an option to buy.” On the other hand, the proposal of a straight swap with Thuram was rejected after the veto imposed by the Bianconeri.
