In the latest episode of Locker Room Chronicles, Riccardo Trevisani spoke about one of the main talents owned by Inter and grown up in the Nerazzurri’s youth sector. A forward with very promising premises who is having a season as an absolute protagonist in the Serie B championship with the Spezia jersey on loan.
We are talking about Pio Esposito, a young striker born in 2005 at the top of the B scorers’ ranking with 12 goals to his credit. This is the opinion of Trevisani, bewitched by his qualities: I feel like betting on him because he has everything. He doesn’t have the same technical refinement as his brother Sebastiano Esposito, but he has good feet, he is one who knows how to play with his feet. Then he has more physique, more sense of the goal and has a character that can lead him to have that calm and not frenzy that we see for example in Arnautovic when he enters the field, or in Vlahovic at Juventus. He’s a calm type and this can make a difference. Then his feet are good and he has a sense of goal which is the most important thing for a striker, so I don’t see an obstacle for him to become Italy’s in the near future, I hope with his brother nearby.
Before returning to Inter to play for the starting spot, however, according to Trevisani, Esposito might need an intermediate stop: In two years yes, but now he is with Spezia in B.
