Two clubs like Roma and Inter have recently conducted some market deals together, the most recent being the transfer of Nicola Zalewski from the capital to Appiano Gentile in January 2025. The Polish full-back was then bought outright last summer but shortly after was sold to Atalanta.
According to today’s edition of Repubblica, during the next winter transfer window the two clubs could return to direct negotiations for a Nerazzurri player who has long been of interest to Roma. Already a year ago, an attempt was made before the deal failed to take off.
This concerns Davide Frattesi, a midfielder who has little playing time at Inter but whom the Milanese club still values at no less than 40 million euros. Roma has never stopped thinking about him and if the conditions in January allow, they will make another attempt (12 months after the last one) to get him from the Nerazzurri club.
