The revelation about Stankovic: “Inter will use the clause”

The adventure of Aleksandar Stankovic at Bruges, who arrived in the summer from Inter, has started very well. The former Nerazzurri player is impressing everyone, as also confirmed by the words of coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck, interviewed by Het Nieuwsblad.

The former Gent coach praised the Serbian midfielder, who has just received his first call-up to the senior national team, emphasizing that in his opinion sooner or later Inter will exercise the buy-back clause included in the agreement with Bruges.

“Aleksandar Stankovic will never leave Bruges’ starting eleven again. He puts himself completely at the service of the team. He plays with one or two touches, almost never loses the ball and is almost always in the right position. That’s why he doesn’t attract much attention, but that’s exactly what makes him so strong. Did Inter want the buy-back? It’s a choice I completely understand. After seeing how well he played against Atalanta, I’m sure that even at Inter they noticed it. And I believe that sooner or later they will use that clause.”
