For several weeks now, there has been discussion about what might be Inter’s strategy for the January transfer window, especially based on what we’ve seen so far this season. In this regard, we refer back to the words recently spoken by Beppe Marotta, with which the president of Inter opened up to possible inbound movements on one condition: that they are young players.
For this reason, we asked Chat GPT to tell us what would be the ideal transfer market coup for Inter in this context for the January window. Respecting the parameters set by Marotta, in line with Oaktree’s directives, the artificial intelligence identified the profile of a young striker.
We are talking about Jonathan David, a forward born in 2000 whose contract with Lille expires in June 2025. Chat GPT preferred the Canadian to other candidates for two main reasons: the first involves the contract expiring at the end of the season, the second the possibility to anticipate the coup a few months to surprise competitors and still sign him at a reduced price.
As we explained in recent weeks, Inter will have no chance to pull off the David coup in January. This is because the Canadian does not have a European passport and the nerazzurri club has no more extra slots that can be occupied in January.
Excluding the possibility of going for David, Chat GPT suggested an external option for Inter should Dumfries leave. For this reason, the name of Jeremie Frimpong, a strong right-winger of Dutch nationality owned by Bayer Leverkusen, was mentioned, but his cost is prohibitive for Inter.
In defense, however, the best profile on the market is considered that of Jaka Bijol, barely preferred over another pawn like Olivier Boscagli for his defensive solidity and the ability to set up the game from the rear.
