Despite the final tremors, Inter still managed to snatch three points from Venezia in the last championship round played at San Siro. The nerazzurri club wasted a great deal over the course of the 90 minutes, even running some risks in the defensive phase.
Besides the joy of winning, Inter’s fans could not help but also appreciate the performance of two jewels of Venezia who grew up in Inter’s youth sector: Filip Stankovic and Gaetano Oristanio. While the Serbian goalkeeper was transferred with the right of redemption, the talented playmaker was instead let go permanently.
Born in 2002, Oristanio has grown tremendously over the past year while on loan to Cagliari and is now reconfirming himself with the Venezia jersey. At this moment, for instance, the former nerazzurri is the best dribbler in Serie A with 25 successful dribbles, three more than Leao. A characteristic that would be useful to Simone Inzaghi‘s Inter, as evidenced by the negative numbers in this regard.
As reported by Cronache di Spogliatoio, Inter has however kept control over the player by inserting two clauses. The first related to a percentage on the future resale by Venezia to a third team, while the second is effectively a buy-back of Oristanio in the hands of the nerazzurri club. Clauses that would also be valid in the event of Venezia being relegated.
