Bayern Munich is serious about Yann Bisseck. The confirmation comes from Christian Falk, a German journalist very close to the Bavarian club, who, in a podcast for BILD, weighs in on the Inter defender after interviewing him a few days ago and says: “It’s true that Bayern wants him. I know him, I interviewed him recently and, among other things, he is very disappointed not to be at the World Cup. This year he achieved the double in Italy, something that hadn’t happened for a long time; he won his second league title and has been playing at a very high level for three years. And all this has not gone unnoticed by Bayern Munich. For this reason, the club has already asked Inter for concrete information about the conditions and whether they would possibly be willing to sell him.”
Falk then adds: “The answer was: starting from around 40 million euros we would be ready to negotiate. Naturally, for a player of his level, it’s an absolutely reasonable figure. However, the same applies as always: Bayern must sell first. The player they have somewhat in mind for a possible sale is Kim Min-jae. If an offer of 30 million euros were to arrive, the operation would be almost self-financed to buy a younger German player. That’s why I have a good feeling. And I know the player is interested. Is there a risk he might play little at Bayern? At Inter he is used to playing in a three-man defense and can also cover wide roles. So you have a versatile player, as is often said. He can play as a central defender, but also as a right back.”
