The negotiations between Inter and Tottenham for Djed Spence are heating up. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, yesterday there was formal contact between the two clubs for the English winger, who has expressed his desire to move to Milan.
The Nerazzurri have decided to firmly focus on the player to fill the gap left by Dumfries‘ departure. The parties are moving quickly, although there is still a financial gap to overcome. The Spurs are asking for around 40 million euros, while the Nerazzurri’s offer stops at 30 million.
There is optimism, however, about the possibility of reaching an agreement halfway, around 35 million euros. This amount would allow Tottenham to cash in on a player who does not seem to be part of De Zerbi‘s plans. For Inter, Spence would represent an important reinforcement on the flanks, with the versatility to play on both wings.
