Benjamin Pavard returns to Inter after spending the season on loan at Marseille. The French defender comes back to base after a year in Ligue 1, which ended with 37 appearances in all competitions, with one goal and three assists.

The French club decided not to exercise the option to buy set at 15 million euros to keep the player, a choice that deprives Inter of the chance to immediately collect the agreed sum, but does not change the plans of the Nerazzurri club. The goal is to find a permanent solution that can guarantee a similar financial return.

This approach is confirmed by Sport Mediaset, which writes: “Inter does not intend to loan out Benjamin Pavard again, who is returning from the season at Marseille. Marotta is only considering a permanent transfer for a fee of around 10-15 million euros“.
