Singo in the Nerazzurri's sights, Galatasaray asks for 50 million

Galatasaray has rejected Inter‘s offer for Wilfried Singo. According to the Turkish portal Fanatik, the Nerazzurri made a verbal proposal of 35 million euros for the Ivorian right-back, but the Giallorossi management said no.

The Turkish club has set the price tag at 50 million euros and has informed the player’s agent that lower offers will not be considered. Coach Okan Buruk considers the Ivorian a key member of the squad and wants to keep him.

Singo arrived at Galatasaray last summer from Monaco for 30 million euros. Despite some unfortunate injuries, every time he has taken the field he has made a difference thanks to his performances and extraordinary physical qualities. The World Cup had started well for him, but a new injury stopped him.

Several European clubs continue to follow the former Torino player with great interest. According to the Italian press, Inter is very determined to close the deal and ready to make a new proposal in the coming days. If the Nerazzurri increase their offer and get closer to the amount requested by Galatasaray, the negotiation could heat up.

If Singo is sold, the first target to replace him on the right flank would be Roland Sallai. Afterwards, the club could also target a Turkish player: Arda Okan Kurtulan from Göztepe is one of the main candidates. In this scenario, the Turkish club would receive a significant sum and also free up a spot on the foreign players list.
