The catchphrase of the last summer transfer market for Inter, as far as rumors about departures are concerned, was undoubtedly the one linked to Hakan Calhanoglu, who for many weeks seemed close to leaving since Galatasaray (and other clubs as well) were after him, ready to make an offer to the club.

In the end, however, Inter decided to keep him and now rumors of a possible departure are resurfacing. Giving credence to this hypothesis is former Milan player Cristian Brocchi, who, in the pre-match of Inter-Lazio, shared live on DAZN his feelings about a possible departure of Calhanoglu at the end of the season. These were his words:

“Calhanoglu is a wonderful player at the peak of his career. For me, everything is at stake for him this year because it will be his last year in the Nerazzurri shirt. He wants to leave with his head held high, he wants to win something, he wants to bring something important, because in my opinion this will be his last season at Inter.”
