After a summer without major investments, Lazio is ready to return to the fray in the January transfer market. The Biancocelesti club will first need to secure some capital gains and only then open up to new signings to strengthen Maurizio Sarri‘s squad. In particular, Claudio Lotito‘s club has its sights set on two Inter players.

As reported in this morning’s edition of Il Messaggero, Sarri would like to strengthen his midfield. To do so, however, he might have to accept the sale of Matteo Guendouzi, a player who is also being followed on the market by the Nerazzurri. With his departure, Lazio could make concrete attempts for the four targets set in the market.

From Inter, for example, both Zielinski and Frattesi are highly liked: for the Pole, there is a significant obstacle regarding his high salary, while the former Sassuolo player currently has a valuation that is out of reach for the Biancocelesti. Among the alternatives, a name like Ilic from Torino is certainly more within reach compared to Mainoo from Manchester United.
