Inter is not stopping at Curtis Jones. The Nerazzurri club would like to complete another signing before the end of the transfer window, a reinforcement to complete the attack with different characteristics compared to the players already present. But to do so, according to Tuttosport, a departure will be needed first.

The arrival of a new element in Cristian Chivu‘s offensive department will in fact depend on an exit between midfield and attack. The management, for numerical reasons and to manage playing time, does not intend to have seven midfielders and five forwards. There are two alternatives: six players in midfield and five in attack, or seven and four.

It is plausible that the directors already have an important offer on the table for a player currently not on the market, or that such a proposal could arrive next week. It’s difficult to name names, but the list could be reduced to three profiles: Aleksandar Stankovic, Petar Sucic, and Ange-Yoan Bonny. Faced with offers of 40 million or more, the three could leave Milan.

By the first of September, the reasoning could change, but at the moment the line is clear: a move in attack depends on an excellent sale.
