Sandro Sabatini analyzed Inter‘s transfer market with a critical eye on the investments made so far. The journalist questions the club’s financial availability after the latest operations.
“Are they spending some money or not? I always get stuck on this question: in the end, they got Provedel for a few coins. Stones on a free transfer. They redeemed Stankovic, yes, that’s fine. But it seems to me that Inter can still spend,” Sabatini said during an appearance on Youtube.
The Nerazzurri club has officially announced in the last few hours the arrival of John Stones on a free transfer after ten seasons with Manchester City. Previously, they had completed the signings of Provedel from Lazio and the redemption of Stankovic from Bruges.
The Nerazzurri transfer market is not yet over. The management still needs to complete several incoming operations: a central defender in case Pavard leaves, a midfielder, and a replacement for Dumfries. On the outgoing front, some surplus midfielders still need to be placed.
