The name of Cristian Romero has become the main target for Inter‘s incoming transfer market. The negotiations with Tottenham were initially started to discuss Spence, but the talks have also expanded to include the Argentine defender.
The player’s valuation is high, around 50 million euros, but not so high as to immediately push the Nerazzurri club to abandon the negotiating table. The gap between the parties remains wide, and this forces Ausilio to keep other options open. The file remains on the table, with the hope that the scheduled talks can narrow the financial gap.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the situation is still evolving, but without any illusions that the deal will be simple. In the meantime, the player has already made it known that he would welcome a return to Italy, where he has already worn the shirts of Genoa and Atalanta.
Romero is waiting for updates from his entourage, who have already been in contact with Inter and will try to do their part to facilitate the deal.
