Romero to Inter, triple verbal agreement with Tottenham and the player

The arrival of Cristian Romero at Inter is getting closer and closer. According to Corriere dello Sport, there is a three-way verbal agreement between the Nerazzurri club, Tottenham, and the Argentine defender. However, the final piece is still missing to definitively unlock the deal.

The newspaper reports that the English club would receive 40 million euros, divided into 35 million fixed plus 5 million in bonuses. The Argentine, for his part, would earn 5.5 million euros per year. The negotiations with the player’s entourage have been intense to iron out the details and compete with the offers from Arsenal and Atletico Madrid.

The unresolved issue remains the position of Pavard. His sale would allow savings of 13 million between gross salary and amortization, considering his contract runs until 2028. The Frenchman, from training camp, is working hard to earn a new opportunity with the Nerazzurri, but he remains among the players not considered central to the club’s technical plans.
