Romero, Oaktree must decide: Inter aims for a sale before making a move

Inter has reached an agreement with Tottenham for Cristian Romero, but the deal remains on hold. According to Libero, final approval from Oaktree is still missing, while the Nerazzurri club would like to make a sale first, with Pavard at the top of the list of possible departures.

The agreement with the Spurs is around 40 million euros, while the player has already given his approval, accepting a salary of 6 million euros including bonuses, a figure similar to what he currently earns in London. The negotiation between the two clubs is therefore defined, but the green light from the American ownership is still awaited.

Timing is a decisive factor: several foreign clubs have shown interest in the Argentine center-back and Tottenham does not intend to sell the defender in the final stages of the transfer window. The Nerazzurri management therefore faces an increasingly tight deadline.

Meanwhile, according to Libero, Moussa Diaby is back in Inter‘s thoughts, the Al-Ittihad winger who was already considered in the past by the Italian champions. The idea would be to include Asllani in the deal to lower the overall financial outlay.
