With the closure of the transfer market, it is now possible to take stock of the 20 squads that make up the new Serie A. Among the various analyses, Transfermarkt has examined the amount spent by the clubs in the Italian league to assemble their respective squads. This refers to the total expenditure used to build their teams, which therefore does not reflect the actual value.
Emblematic, for example, is the case of Inter. The Nerazzurri in fact have the squad with the current highest value in the entire league, amounting to 707.80 million euros. At the same time, however, this squad was assembled by spending a total of 287 million, a figure that ranks as the fifth highest in all of Serie A 2025/26.
Leading the ranking of costs is Juventus with 489 million, ahead of Milan with 408. Completing the podium is Napoli with 389 million and Atalanta in fourth place with 318. The fifth place of Inter therefore certifies two aspects: the first concerns the containment of costs in recent seasons; the second is the incredible work done by the Nerazzurri directors, who have managed to spend less than their direct competitors and still create the squad with the highest value in the league.
