Possible breakthrough in the negotiations between Inter and Juventus for the transfer of Davide Frattesi. As we have been reporting for weeks, Luciano Spalletti is pushing hard to try to reunite with the midfielder he coached during his time in charge of the Italian National Team, and who this season has not been finding space in the Nerazzurri shirt under Cristian Chivu.
The recent statements by the Inter coach about the former Sassuolo player have cast further shadows over his future, and president Giuseppe Marotta himself has officially opened up to the possibility of a separation. According to Calciomercato.com, it could really be a swap deal that unlocks the operation between the two historically rival clubs.
In particular, in order to get the midfielder, Juventus would be willing to give up 50% of the sale of Tarik Muharemovic, a defender owned by Sassuolo and tied to the Bianconeri by this clause in his contract. This would allow Inter to save half the cost of the center-back’s transfer fee, in this sort of indirect swap with Frattesi.
At the same time, the Nerazzurri club would still collect a considerable sum from the sale of the midfielder. The net value of Frattesi on the Nerazzurri’s balance sheet will be 16 million euros as of next December 31: this means that Inter will necessarily have to collect a sum higher than this in order to record a capital gain.
