Total confirmations regarding the recent rumors about Inter‘s attempt to bring Ivan Perisic back. As announced on Youtube by Fabrizio Romano, the Nerazzurri club has indeed made an initial proposal to understand the intentions of both the Croatian winger and, above all, PSV Eindhoven. This is the news reported by the journalist and the possible developments during this January transfer window:

“A name that Inter knows very well, he remains very close to the Nerazzurri fans. Today I can tell you that what has emerged in recent days is true, that is, there have been calls from Inter to understand Perisic’s situation. It’s true that his age suggests he’s an older player, but if you look at the pitch, this guy still makes a difference with the Croatian national team and with PSV. He wouldn’t need time to adapt, he continues to perform in a certain way. There have been calls, but so far they haven’t gone well. In the sense that PSV has no intention of letting go of Ivan Perisic mid-season. So far, Inter has not received a positive response to these calls, while Perisic would be intrigued by the possibility of returning. The only hope would be a last-minute deal, but right now it’s not a hot topic. It’s an attempt, a call made, but Inter is working under the radar as they did for Cancelo.”
