The journalist Alfredo Pedullà expressed his point of view on the affair involving Alessandro Bastoni and the alleged interest from Al Hilal. Speaking on his YouTube channel, the transfer market expert wanted to clarify a piece of news that, in his opinion, has no real basis.

“I have great respect for Tullio Tinti, who was a guest yesterday on a show of which I saw a few fragments,” began Pedullà. “On the same channel, it comes out that Bastoni is liked by Al Hilal but there is no negotiation: explain to me where the news is. It’s like telling you I want to go to Mauritius but I haven’t booked.”

The journalist then added elements that further dismantle the Arab hypothesis: “From Saudi Arabia, they tell us that Al Hilal is not currently looking for a central defender.” Tinti, a guest on the same show, confirmed that Bastoni “has Inter in his heart and wants to stay.”

“But explain to me why we had to waste all this time,” continued Pedullà in a critical tone. “Bastoni has had a terrible season, but let’s put a stop to this so we don’t do him any harm. Let’s not talk about it anymore, it seems to me like the same things agents used to say about Mancini being liked by Inter when he had already decided to sign with Roma. These are not good things and I have to say it.”
