The return of Benjamin Pavard to Pinetina after a season away from Milan has reopened the doors to an unexpected scenario. Pavard will have to convince Cristian Chivu, the management, and the locker room in the coming weeks to earn a second chance.

The possibility of a transfer remains concrete. Should an offer deemed adequate arrive, Inter would be ready to let him go and look for a replacement. The club would target an experienced, reliable defender available at low cost, following a strategy similar to the one adopted in 2022 for Francesco Acerbi. A solution that would guarantee experience without compromising the financial balance.

Meanwhile, Inter has reached a verbal agreement with Yann Bisseck to extend the contract until 2031. The agreement, accompanied by a salary adjustment, confirms the club’s trust in the German center-back.
