Palestra gets closer to Inter! Positive meeting with Atalanta and new offer

Important development for the Inter transfer market, which today met with Atalanta and is getting closer to signing Marco Palestra. It was a positive meeting, in which the Inter management pushed even further with a new offer to break down the resistance of the Bergamo club for the 2005-born winger, identified as the number one target to replace Denzel Dumfries, who is set to join Real Madrid.

Inter already had an agreement with the player and today raised the bar of their offer to Atalanta, going up to 50 million euros including fixed part and bonuses.

The confirmation comes from Sky Sport, with journalist Matteo Barzaghi adding: “Inter has taken a step towards Atalanta, now we will work to understand exactly what kind of step we are talking about, but it is a raise in the offer to reach almost 50 million with bonuses. Inter got closer today, so it was a positive meeting between the two clubs.”

New contacts are expected in the coming hours, particularly at the beginning of next week. The goal is to reach a deal.
