The experience of Davide Frattesi with the Inter shirt, after having lived through exciting moments, seems to have come to an end. The Nerazzurri midfielder has been sidelined from Cristian Chivu‘s project and will most likely say goodbye during the January transfer window. Already close to leaving the Nerazzurri last winter, the former Sassuolo player could really pack his bags and say farewell to Milan this time.
As written in recent days, when Juventus inquired about Frattesi, Inter responded by asking for Khephren Thuram in exchange. However, the Frenchman is considered untouchable by the Bianconeri, who therefore are not open to a swap. As reported by Calciomercato.com, the Nerazzurri club could still accept an offer for a permanent transfer, or at least a loan with an obligation to buy, provided that a proposal of at least 35 million euros arrives.
It is instead ruled out that Inter could agree to a swap involving players considered as second choices. Chivu‘s squad, as of today, has above all one great need: if a midfielder with the qualities of Thuram does not arrive, a right winger to replace the injured Dumfries would be very welcome.
A profile that Marotta and Ausilio like, for example, is that of Wesley from Roma. If the Giallorossi were to decide, as they did a year ago, to join the race for Frattesi, they would have a winning card in hand to negotiate with Inter.
