After reviewing numerous profiles in South America on Dario Baccin‘s market mission, Inter has not neglected the soccer players that have long been on their notebook. Among these, a defender from the Italian championship who has repeatedly been linked to the Nerazzurri club remains at the top of the list for Inter directors.
Confirmations in this regard came this morning even on the pages of Tuttosport. In addition to interest in Argentine defender Marco Di Cesare of Racing de Avellaneda, born in 2002, the Nerazzurri pressure has been renewed towards Jaka Bijol.
According to the newspaper, the Udinese center-back could land in Milan as early as the January market, but only if Inter decides to step in to strengthen the defensive department. Bijol is considered to be a player who is ready to fit into Simone Inzaghi‘s schemes from the get-go. The good relations between the two clubs should also facilitate a successful negotiation.
To lower the costs of a deal that isn’t expected to be cheap, Inter could feature some of their own Primavera youth appreciated by the Friulian club.
