Monza has initiated the first contacts with Inter for Kristjan Asllani. According to what Nicolò Schira reported on X, the Brianzoli are exploring the availability of the Albanian midfielder as a possible reinforcement for the midfield.
The Lombard club is looking for an alternative to replace the injured captain Pessina and has identified the former Empoli player as an interesting profile. The talks between the two clubs are in the early stages, but they represent the first concrete interest in the 2002-born player after weeks of stalemate.
Asllani’s position in the Nerazzurri squad has been clear for some time: the midfielder is out of the project. So far, however, the lack of concrete offers has prevented the separation between the player and Inter. Monza’s interest could unlock the situation in the coming days.
