According to Tuttosport, the management of Inter intends to address the issue related to Marcus Thuram‘s contract soon. President Marotta and head of scouting Baccin will open the file on the French striker in the coming weeks.
Thuram’s contract expires in 2028, but it is a specific clause that is worrying the Nerazzurri club. As reported by the Turin-based newspaper, the president would like to intervene on the €85 million release clause, which can be activated every summer until July 15.
The management’s goal would be to remove or modify that clause, which represents a vulnerability in managing the player on the market. The issue is considered a priority among the open files at Inter in the coming weeks.
