The great dream of Inter in this last summer transfer window was without a doubt Ademola Lookman. The Nigerian striker also very intensely desired the move to Chivu‘s team, in fact breaking with Atalanta and skipping training sessions. In the end, however, he was not able to leave.

The Bergamo club not only prevented him from going to Inter or other Serie A clubs, but also rejected some offers from abroad that arrived because they value Lookman higher economically than the amounts proposed. In the last hours of the transfer window, Bayern also tried after some English clubs.

According to colleagues at Calciomercato.com, there are now three options for Lookman. The first (and most likely) is that he stays at Atalanta until January, trying to patch things up in order to play; the second is a transfer to a country where the market is still open, such as Saudi Arabia or Turkey, while the third (almost impossible) is that the club keeps him on the fringes of the squad for this season, risking a collapse in his transfer value.
