The big transfer move in Serie A that never materialized during the last summer was without a doubt the one involving Ademola Lookman to Inter. The Nigerian striker did everything he could in the summer to join Chivu’s team and thus say goodbye to Atalanta, but the Percassi family always blocked his departure.

Now Lookman is back to playing as a starter and did so yesterday in AtalantaComo, also showing off some of his trademark moves. In recent days, rumors have resurfaced about his possible departure in January, but as of today Fabrizio Romano denies any advanced negotiations with these words on his YouTube channel:

“There is no ongoing discussion already set up for Lookman in January. There are no advanced contacts either with Inter, Bayern, or other clubs. For Lookman, nothing is advanced at this stage, his present is called Atalanta but his desire remains to have another experience in the future. For January, however, there is nothing as of today.”
