Ademola Lookman did not at all appreciate the negative response delivered by email this afternoon from Atalanta to Inter‘s offer. The Bergamo club, 72 hours after officially receiving the proposal, has in fact decided to reject the 42 million euros plus 3 million in bonuses offered for the Nigerian striker’s transfer.
Lookman, who had reached an economic agreement with Inter several days ago, did not take Atalanta‘s response well at all. The striker had long requested to be transferred, giving total priority to the Nerazzurri. As a reaction, the Nigerian immediately changed his Instagram profile picture to an entirely black background.
Lookman, finally, deleted all the photos showing him in the Atalanta jersey. This is a sign that, despite the club from Bergamo declaring him non-transferable, the striker could still push to leave, breaking all ties with the club.
