Matteo Moretto has confirmed that in recent days a meeting took place between Deco and the agent of Lautaro Martinez. Camano, who represents several footballers and also acts as an intermediary for others, had an exchange with the Barcelona executive regarding the Nerazzurri captain. There is interest in the Argentine striker, but there is a long way from conversation to something concrete.

The rumors circulating in the last few hours in Spain have fueled speculation about possible interest from the Catalan club. However, according to Fabrizio Romano and Moretto, there is complete calm both within the Inter environment and in the player’s entourage. Barcelona itself does not provide any particular confirmation: it is natural that the club, should it fail to secure Alvarez, would look around, but talking today about a real negotiation for Lautaro is not the case.

Moretto emphasized that, although Lautaro is a welcome idea, as of August 12 there is nothing concrete. Inter, for its part, would do everything possible not to lose its captain, making any operation extremely complicated. The situation therefore remains at a simple informal inquiry, with no operational developments on the horizon.
