The Crystal Palace has made official the signing of Anan Khalaili from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. The twenty-one-year-old Israeli, who was close to joining Inter before failing to obtain clearance from CONI for sports eligibility, has signed a contract until 2031, pending international authorization.
The new Palace signing represents the London club’s fifth reinforcement of the summer, after Óscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Dwight McNeil, and Evann Guessand.
“I am happy to be here, it’s a new challenge for me and I can’t wait to get started,” said Khalaili. “I have followed the Premier League – it’s a new challenge for me – and I have been following Crystal Palace for a long time. I am happy to be here,” the player added.
