The English midfielder Curtis Jones landed in Milan last night, shortly before 11 p.m., beginning his new Italian adventure. The now former Liverpool player arrived at Linate Prime, where the first fans were already waiting for him: in front of them, he beat his fist on his chest and made the heart gesture.

Today the player will go through the full process that will officially make him a Nerazzurri footballer. Scheduled are medical examinations at Humanitas and sports eligibility at Coni, followed by a visit to the club headquarters to sign the five-year contract worth 3.5 million plus bonuses. On the same day, content for the club’s official channels will be recorded.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Jones will get a close look at the future as early as tomorrow at San Siro, on the occasion of the match against Monza. On that occasion, however, he will only be a spectator. The real debut is expected for the next home game, on September 5th against Napoli, when he will finally take the field.

The long courtship that lasted months thus ends with the arrival of the midfielder, coveted for weeks by Inter.
