The Curtis Jones operation is heating up. According to Fabrizio Romano on X, Inter believes it is possible to close the deal with Liverpool for a fee of around 35 million euros. The English midfielder has been the Nerazzurri club’s top target since May and has a contract with the Reds expiring in June 2027.

For now, however, the green light to submit a new official offer to the English club is still missing. Before making a move for Jones, the sale of Davide Frattesi must be finalized. Once the Italian midfielder’s departure is confirmed, Inter still intends to go back on the offensive before the transfer window closes.

The acceleration for the English midfielder comes after the one for Spence, another target followed by the Nerazzurri in this transfer window. The club’s intentions are clear: complete outgoing transfers first, then make a move for the profiles identified some time ago.
